I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hi guys! It's been a while since I last posted a blog (but do know that my Youtube channel is very much active :)) and now, I am writing to tell you guys about this wonderful competition of Naga City Guide, which I would need your help to win.

So, Naga City Guide is giving away five 3D/2N stay in Naga City! Included in the package are of course, hotel accommodation, food trip, spa, city and heritage tour, loot bag, and shirt!

I've been in Naga City before, but it was such a short time that I was not able to see the sights, like Mt. Isarog, which I heard to be a very beautiful place. I also want to see what the city has to offer, since my mom was from Naga and she told me wonderful stories about the city. I also want to see Ina, because I heard of her miracles! I want to try out the local cuisine, especially the desserts OMG!

Check out the prizes to be won on this Naga City Vacation link (especially if you guys also want to join the competition). #UltimateNagaVacation

If you guys are interested in hearing me plead and express my excitement on this competition, check out my pleading video below :D

I HOPE I WIN!!!! Going to Naga would be an awesome addition to my travel vlog!!! #fingerscrossed

Cat in the Bus Compartment?!?!

Today, April 13, my mom and I were in a loooooooooong line at the bus terminal of Genesis in Pasay City. Our cat, Jerbie, was with us (it's Holy Week and we were headed to my father's province); she was caged and leashed. Knowing Jerbie, who is afraid of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, she was cowering inside her carrier, not making ANY sound.

We arrived at the bus terminal at around 5 in the morning (we left home at 4:15) and we were in the looooooong line for three and half hours. There were people cutting in the line, two people reserving for seven people, so naturally, I was pissed of, majorly. My mom and I were ranting all over the place, our fellow passengers-waiting-in-the-line doing the same thing.

When FINALLY, we were a few people away from entering the Saulog bus, the dispatcher, conductor, bus driver, practically almost everyone working for Genesis and/or Saulog told us that we have to put Jerbie INSIDE THE BUS COMPARTMENT! AS IN THE ONE BENEATH THE BUS!! THE ONE OPEN ON THE SIDE OF THE BUS AND FEELS HELLISH HOT WHEN OPENED!!

Can you not see that she's afraid?!?!
I felt like I was electrocuted. My mom, too. We pleaded to let Jerbie in with us, saying that she's caged and leashed a
nd quiet, but NOOOOOOOOO! They insisted that we put her in the baggage compartment.

Bes, iba yung shock ko. Sabi nga, I was shooked! Jerbie is a cat which has a life!! We took care and is currently taking care of Jerbie for five years already! She got lost and I found her before. My mom regularly goes to the vet to have Jerbie vaccinated. AND NOW, YOU'RE TELLING US TO STOW OUR PRECIOUS CAT IN YOUR OVEN TOASTER OF A BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT?!?! She's scared of her fellow cats! She likes cold water! THEN YOU'RE TELLING US TO KEEP HER INSIDE A DARK AND EXTREMELY HOT COMPARTMENT FOR THREE, POSSIBLY LONGER, HOURS?!?! ARE YOU FREAKIN'G KIDDING ME?!?!?!

I know, we may be in fault as well. We should've asked the moment we got there whether our cat would be allowed in. Should we have, we could have hired another taxi the moment we got there and by the time I am writing this (at 10:30AM), we could've been lounging in my granparents' old home.

I just assumed that Jerbie will be allowed in, since I recall seeing roosters (for cockfight) inside provincial buses before. I also assumed that since Jerbie is caged, and leashed, and is practically mute, she would be allowed in. Apparently not.

How could you let a cat ride the core of a bus?!?
But then again, WHY ARE ANIMALS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE BUSES?! It's not as if we had a pig or a horse with us! It's not as if we did not prepare Jerbie's cage!

So, what did we do? We hired a cab to bring us to Pampanga. We paid P2,000.00 for a ride to SM San Fernando, rather than pay for less than 500-peso ride for two that would have brought us almost a stone-throw away from my grandparents' old home with the possibility of Jerbie becoming a cat mush. We actually thought of going back home even after all those waiting.  We would have rather wasted three and half hours than let our beloved cat die in fear and suffocation.

Even at Barney's Burger, where we had our lunch, we were not allowed in because Jerbie was with us. JERBIE WAS IN A FREAKING CAGE!!!!

It's just unfair! I wonder what PETA and PAWS has to say about these kinds of animal cruelty.

Youtubers Galore!

Last March 5, I went to Glorietta for the #YTLoungeCreatorsMeetup. It was amazing to see so many Youtubers in one place! And it was also amazing to see the fans fawning over their (our) idol Youtubers!

In the event were Anne Clutz, Michelle Dy, Say Tioco, Anna Cay, Janina Vela, Mikey Bustos, Kristine Roces, Zendee (the girl who went viral for singing fabulously in a karaoke in a mall), Lloyd Cadena, and Ana Victorino. Andrea Brillantes was also there (just for the photo op). Erwan Heussaff was supposed to be there, too, but I think he was sick that day. Jayden Rodrigues and Joanna Soh were also there.

I wasn't really expecting to get a chance to meet them in person since I did not join the raffle of Ayala Malls. Actually, I wanted to. But when I saw their advertisement saying that they have a raffle which anyone can join by creating a vlog, I saw it on the day the raffle was to be drawn. So on March 5, I went to Glorietta, thinking that I will just stand on the sides, shout to my favorite Youtubers to get their attention, just like the rest of the crowd. And I was not wrong.

Before the event started, Globe had this raffle thing, too, where you will pay P50 for load and register for an UnliSurf and do a few online stuff, which would grant you an entry for the meet and greet raffle. Unfortunately, I did not win there, but I got three Globe stuff like a face towel, a pencil case pouch (or something like that), and a Globe coin purse. I really wanted their notebook, but I did not win that either.

Then, I saw this line of people going to the event area. Apparently, Ayala was selling their popcorns for the fans to gain entry in their general admissions area. I saw that those already in the gen ad area were being transferred inside, where they will have a chance to meet the Youtubers. So, I bought their popcorn and two bottles of water for P150 and I was ushered in.

Then, they called us in the gen ad area and started transferring people. When it was my turn (or at least, when I thought it was my turn), they checked my numbered bracelet and said that they will only allow people until 150 - I WAS 152!!! The event started and I was stuck in the gen ad area.

The meetup event was actually Q&A session with the Youtubers. They were asked stuff like, what advice could you give to people who want to venture in Youtube, when did they feel they were already famous, any makeup advice, what is Joanna Soh's favorite exercise, blah, blah, blah.

The whole time, I was trying to get the attention of my favorite Youtubers (Anne Clutz, Michelle Dy, Joanna Soh, and Say Tioco). I only had my phone with me, so I opened my Snapchat and wrote their names on it and flashed my phone up whenever they look at my general direction. It was only Anne Clutz who noticed me. Well, Michelle Dy also did, but it was after I shouted her name and flashed my phone up. Say Tioco looked at me, too, when I shouted her name. Joanna Soh, on the other hand, for some reason, left the stage during the photo ops and went to the gen ad area. I didn't notice her, until one woman told me that she was there. So, I had my photo and video taken with her, as well as her autograph.

During the photo ops, two women were quite angry. They were ranting that they paid P150 for the gen ad entry but they could not get their photos taken with the Youtubers. I sympathize with them, but I did not want to cause a scene. Then after a while, a woman who was with me and a few others in the gen ad area pointed that the two ranting women were in already inside, getting in line for the photos!

That was when we approached the events coordinator (or something). We told him our sentiments, how unfair it was that we were not allowed in, when the ranting women were. He brought another events guy who explained that the two women won the globe raffle. They explained that the gen ad was really supposed for the fans, but those in the gen ad area won't really have the chance to meet the Youtubers. They explained that the main area was for the Ayala Malls raffle winners, but then they didn't came (or didn't join) so the first 150 from the gen ad were brought in.

While I was trying to catch the attention of my favorite Youtubers, one camera man told me that I could slip inside the main audience area. I wanted to, but there were six other fans who wanted to get in. I thought it would be unfair for them if I get in by sneaking in, and they won't. Needless to say, I stuck outside with them.

We (me and 6 other fans who really wanted to meet the Youtubers) plead, lied, got angry, reasoned out to the events people, but we were still not allowed in. What made things a bit worse, was that after the Youutbers asked for a break, the personnel brought two gigantic fans for the Youtubers and blocked the view of the people in gen ad. After 10 minutes, they realized that we, unfortunate souls, could not see what was happening, and moved the fans away.

Then three of us went to the sides of the stage. I really should've done that earlier, since the Youtubers were entertaining their fans from the sides and not from the back!

Here's the vlog I did on the event :)

Don't Sing Along Challenge

There is this trend spreading online, which is the Don't Sing Along Challenge, where, as the title suggests, one should try not to sing along to songs. Most songs in this challenge are catchy songs, like commercial jingles, popular songs, and nostalgic songs. There are many versions of this online, some even challenges you not to dance along to the song!

There is a Filipino version called Ang Kumanta, Talo Challenge, which, fortunately, allows the challenge takers to dance along to the songs. I thought this would be an easy challenge, but hell, no! Good thing I am allowed to dance, because if not, I wouldn't get a slight chance of successfully finishing this challenge.

The creator of this Pinoy version challenge (ChorvaQueen) said that there will be a part 3! I'm super excited to do that!!!

Here are my videos doing the challenge. ENJOY!!

Tinay Goes Theater-ing

Hello guys! Hahaha!

Nung Sabado, nagpunta ako sa show ng TAP (Theater in Alternative Platforms) - yung Ampalaya Monlogues nila, at nanood din ako ng Wicked.

Ampalaya Molonogues

Tapos, super friendly nilang lahat!

Sumali kasi ako sa internship kineme nila, at nung Sabado yung unang beses kong sumama sa event nila as part of the internship kemeroo.

Seasonal ang shows nila, dapat abangan niyo at manood kayo.

Wicked

So, Wicked. Wicked was... well, wicked! Hahaha! Another perfection itu! Charot!

May mechanical dragon sila sa set (na medyo naloka ako kung bakit meron dahil as far as I saw, wala namang ibang function yung dragon bukod sa manakot... baka yun talaga ang purpose niya) na gumagalaw talaga! At least, yung ulo, kamay, at pakpak. Yung buong set nila, amazing talaga! World class!

But not for the Wicked cast.

Ramdam ko talaga yung message ng For Good, mangiyak-ngiyak nga ako eh. Kahit nga kaninang umaga nung pinanood ko yung pagkanta nila Idina at Kristin ng For Good, naiiyak pa rin ako eh. LOL, ang senti ko. The feels din yung Defying Gravity.

Pero more than the amazing songs, beautiful sets and costumes, at siyempre magaling na performers, na-realize ko yung social relevance nung musical; particularly sa line exchanges na 'to:

GLINDA: Well, I'm a public figure now! People expect me to --
ELPHABA: Lie?
GLINDA: Be encouraging!

Enjoy!
